ORAL JUDGMENT (PER R.K.DESHPANDE, J.) 1] Rule, Rule made returnable forthwith. Heard finally by consent of learned counsel appearing for the parties. 2] Caste claim of the petitioner is pending with Scrutiny Committee for issuance of validity certificate since 2018. The

3] Petition can be disposed of by an order as under: (i) The respondent- Scrutiny Committee to decide the caste claim of the petitioner within a period of six months from the date of first appearance of the petitioner before the Scrutiny Committee.

(ii) The petitioner to appear before the Committee on 3rd February, 2020.

(iii) The service of the petitioner shall stand protected till the decision of the Scrutiny Committee.

4] Rule is made absolute in the aforesaid terms. No order as to costs.
