The grievance in this contempt petition is the non-compliance of the directions issued by the Court vide order dated 12/09/2017 in Writ Petition No. 1819/2009. 3.

Shri Samudra, learned counsel for the respondent No. 2 submits that vide communication dated 25/02/2021, it is informed to the petitioner that payment towards Refundable Differential Amount of Rs.37,20,560/- with interest of Rs.23,85,236/- total amount of Rs.61,05,796/- after deducting T.D.S. on interest of Rs.1,78,893/- has been deposited in the bank account of the petitioner.

In this view of the matter, in our considered opinion, due compliance of the aforesaid directions have been done and still if the petitioner has any grievance, he can agitate the same in an independent proceeding. 5.
