The challenge raised in the present writ petition is to the order passed by the Scrutiny Committee on 31.05.2017 returning the proposal that was forwarded for verification of the petitioner's caste claim. According to the Scrutiny Committee since the petitioner did not remove various deficiencies in the proposal and did not furnish necessary documents, the Scrutiny Committee thought it fit to return the said proposal.

Shri S.R.Narnaware, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is willing to submit a fresh proposal to the Scrutiny Committee in terms of paragraph 7 of the order dated 31.05.2017.

In the light of the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of by permitting the petitioner to submit a fresh proposal to the Scrutiny Committee in terms of paragraph

WP4356.17 2/2 7 of the order dated 31.05.2017. If such proposal is received by the Scrutiny Committee, it shall decide the same on its own merits and in accordance with law. In the meanwhile, the services of the petitioner shall remain protected. No orders as to costs. JUDGE JUDGE Andurkar..
