In this petition, a prayer is made to direct the respondent authorities to grant the petitioners the higher pay scale and other consequential benefits as granted to the other similarly circumstanced employees, within a period of four weeks. Further prayer is made for granting the revised pay scale and other consequential benefits in view of the General Order No. 135 dated 28/12/95 to the petitioners from the date of their first entitlement.

The learned counsel for the petitioners has further stated that, the issue in the present petition can be decided in light of the judgment delivered by this Court on 12/12/2018 in Writ Petition No. 4012/2011.

Since the issue regarding entitlement of the petitioners is still not decided, we direct the respondent authorities to treat this petition as a representation and decide the question of entitlement of the petitioners by considering the

The learned counsel for the petitioners undertakes to produce a copy of this order along with a copy of the petition before the authorities, within a period of two weeks from today 6.
