The petitioners who have been appointed on the post of Laboratory Assistant seek regularization of their services from the date of their initial appointment which is 07.07.2015. They also seek placement in the appropriate pay-scale with consequential benefits.

The learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the respondent nos.4 and 5 submit that in somewhat similar circumstances this Court has granted the relief as prayed for in Writ Petition No.3163 of 2021 [Ashwini Ravi Salame & Others Versus State of Maharashtra & Others] by the order dated 26.08.2022. The learned counsel for the respondent nos.4 and 5 submits that in accordance therein such benefit could be extended to the petitioners on the post of Laboratory Assistant from 07.07.2015 followed by all consequential benefits as granted in the aforesaid writ petition.
