Date : 22 nd December, 2020 Heard Shri Lambat, learned counsel for the applicant, and Ms Jachak, learned APP for the non-applicant - State. 2.

The applicant is seeking bail in Crime No.348 of 2020 registered at Police Station Mankapur, Nagpur for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 465, 466, 467, 468, 471 and 120(B) read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation against the applicant is that in collusion with accused Padole and Rewatkar, he secured the bogus sport certificate to secure Government job. It is stated that though the applicant has been selected in Police Department, he could not join the duties, as the issuance of bogus certificate came to light. Now it is stated that the investigation is completed and the chargesheet is filed. Hence, no purpose would be served in keeping the applicant

in jail.

In view of the aforesaid position, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the applicant on the following conditions : (i) The applicant - Sanjay S/o Abaso Sawant, shall be released on bail on his executing a personal bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rs. Twenty thousand only) with one surety in the like amount.

(ii) The applicant shall not issue threats or tamper with the prosecution witnesses.

(iii) The applicant shall attend each and every date of the proceedings before the Trial Court.

(iv) The applicant shall attend the concerned police station once in a month, i.e. on every first Thursday of the month between 12.00 noon and 2.00 p.m.

Needless to mention that the observations made in this application are strictly for deciding the present application of the applicant and the Trial Court shall not get influenced by the same and shall be free to decide the matter on its merits.

The criminal application stands disposed of.
