The respondent No.1 in First Appeal No.879/2022 has filed this application for condonation of delay caused in filing the cross objection. The delay is of 538 days from the date of filing of the appeal.

Learned counsel for appellant has raised the objection that delay is much more, it is counted from the date of judgment, as the appeal was also filed at belated stage. Therefore, the respondent Prity

Considering the reasons given in the application, the delay of 538 days is hereby condoned.

The respondent No. 1 waives the interest, if any, during the period from the date of judgment till the filing of the cross objection. The cross objection be registered.
