Heard.

The applicant is apprehending arrest in Crime 110 of 2018 registered with Police Station Pinjar for offence punishable under section 5(c), 9, 9(a) of Animal Cruelty Act and section 429 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is that 20 kgs meat was seized from the courtyard of the applicant. The learned APP fairly states that meat is sent to the concerned laboratory for analysis. In any event, this is not a case where custodial interrogation is necessary. The applicant has no criminal antecedents.

The interim order dated 29.6.2018 is confirmed with the modification that the applicant shall attend Police Station Pinjar as and when required by the Investigating Officer.
