DATE : 22.01.2020 The challenge raised in the present writ petition is to the order dated 29.06.2017 that has been passed by the Additional Registrar, Co-operative Societies under the provisions of Section 77 A of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960 (for short, ' the said Act').

According to the petitioner, that order appointing Managing Committee of administrators is liable to be stayed till a revision application preferred by the petitioner is finally decided.

It is found that an alternate efficacious remedy of filing an appeal under Section 152 of the said Act is available to the petitioners. We do not find any exceptional case made out to entertain the writ petition. Hence with liberty to challenge the order dated 29.06.2017 by filing an appeal under Section 152 of the said Act, the writ petition is disposed of. Points raised in

WP4525.17 2/2 writ petition are kept open. Similarly the period spent in prosecuting the writ petition is also liable to be excluded. No costs.
