Apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No.248 of 2017 registered against the applicant and her husband for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 323, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code, the applicant has sought pre-arrest bail.

The crime is registered on the complaint lodged by Jyotsna Nagre that both the accused (the applicant and her husband) have cheated her by taking huge amount of Rs.3,00,000/- from her assuring that utilizing the cordial relations with the highly placed Officers, they will facilitate allotment of 5 acres of C-Class land in Buldhana Town in favour of the complainant.

The application is opposed on the ground that earlier crime No.40 of 2014 was registered against the applicant for offence punishable under Sections 406, 420 read

2 aba484.17 with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. It is pointed out by the non-applicant that departmental inquiry is conducted against the applicant and minor punishment is inflicted on her directing stoppage of increment for one year. Considering the fact that the applicant is working with Police Department and looking to her tendency of repeating similar crimes, I am not inclined to grant the prayer made in the application.

The application is dismissed.
