This application is filed for carrying amendment to the present application praying to declare that Section 4 (1) of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 is ultra vires to the Constitution.

Learned counsel for applicants does not press this application and seeks leave to withdraw the same with liberty to adopt recourse by filing comprehensive petition seeking declaration as aforesaid.
