Rule. Rule made returnable forthwith. Heard finally with the consent of learned counsel for the parties. 2.
The challenge raised in this writ petition is to the order of transfer dated 12/07/2017 issued by the respondent No.4 by which the request made by the petitioner for being transferred at the place where his wife was serving came to be rejected.

It is seen that the order impugned was passed on 12/07/2017 after which the period of more than four years has elapsed.

In the aforesaid backdrop, the petitioner by filing an additional affidavit has renewed his request for being transferred from Morshi to Amravati. Such request is required to be considered by the respondent No.1. The interests of justice would be served by permitting the petitioner to make a fresh application for being transferred from Morshi to Amravati. If such application is made within a period of two weeks from today, the respondent No.1 shall consider the same in accordance with the policy and take a decision thereon within further period of two weeks from receipt of the same and the decision taken be communicated to the petitioner. 5.
With these directions, writ petition is disposed of. Rule accordingly. No costs.
