The only relief sought by the petitioner is for expeditious consideration of his application for grant of license for sale of imported foreign liquor and Indian made foreign liquor. Said application has been made on 05/09/2022 and as more than one year has lapsed since making such application, this writ petition has been filed.

In these facts, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's application dated 05/09/2022 in accordance with law and take a decision thereon within a period of eight weeks of receipt of copy of this order if the same has not yet decided. 5.
