Shri Kilor, the learned counsel for the petitioner, states that without going into the other aspects of the matter in the writ petition, the petition could be disposed of by issuance of a direction against the scrutiny committee to decide the caste claim of the petitioner in accordance with law.

Shri Doifode, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the scrutiny committee, states that the caste claim of the petitioner is not received by the scrutiny committee either by the post through the college or online, as stated to have been submitted by the petitioner.

If that be so, the petitioner is permitted to submit his caste claim to the scrutiny committee online, in the proper form within two months. If the petitioner so submits the caste claim, the scrutiny committee is directed to decide the same in accordance with law within fifteen months. If the petitioner pays the fees that are payable by the open category candidate with a view to secure the necessary documents and the mark-sheets from the college, the college may issue the same to the petitioner.
