Heard the learned Counsel for the Petitioner. 2.

The Petitioner is seeking compassionate appointment for the post of Assistant Teacher in the Respondent - School. 3.

It is the case of the Petitioner that father of the Petitioner expired on 22 April 2002. It is not stated that whether he was expired when he was in service. Thereafter, there is a reference of a representation dated 15 February 2019 made by the Petitioner. 4.

Considering the object for compassionate appointment, query was raised as to how the Petitioner made an Application after 17 years of SMGate

wp 527.2021.odt the death of her father. The learned Counsel states that the Petitioner had made several Applications earlier, however, no such details have been pleaded in the Petition.

For want of any details the delay of 17 years cannot be overlooked. The Petition could have been dismissed on that count, by way of indulgence, we dispose of the Petition with a liberty to the Petitioner to plead appropriate facts, annex all the representations, if any, and file a fresh Petition if delay can be satisfactorily explained. 6.

The Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
