MARCH 15, 2024.

By present application, the applicants - Akola Zilla Kamgar Sangh (INTUC) and Akola Oil Industries Karmachari Sanghatna, Akola, have put forth following prayers :

"It is, therefore, most humbly prayed that, this Hon'ble Court be pleased to direct the Competent Authority to release the entire amount of Rupees One Crores towards the payment of 300 workers from March 1996 to 2002.

ii) allow the application with costs ;

iii) grant any other just and appropriate relief which this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

2] None present for the applicants. Dr. Anjan De, learned Counsel for the Official Liquidator, submits that the Official Liquidator has paid more than Rs.12 crores to 500 workers towards their dues.

3] Thus, it appears that payment under question has been already made and, therefore, none is appearing for the applicants.
