Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.

The prayer is made to hold and declare that the action of Respondent No.3 - Collector, in refusing to acquire the land of the petitioners by way of direct sale is contrary to law and illegal. 3.
In order to buttress his contention, learned counsel for petitioners relies upon a judgment of the Aurangabad Bench dated 09/12/2021 in Writ Petition No. 2806/2020 (Murlidhar s/o Rama Veer and others Vs State of Maharashtra and others). He submits that the issue is covered by the pronouncement of aforesaid judgment. 4.
Be that as it may, since the respondent authorities can very well look into the matter, we direct that present petition be treated as a representation, and the said representation be decided by Respondent No.3 in the light of the judgment dated 09/12/2021 passed in Writ Petition No. 2806/2020, within a period of ten weeks from today. 5.
Learned counsel for the petitioners undertakes to produce a copy of the petition and the order passed today before the Respondent No.3 within a period of two weeks from today.
