The only prayer made by the petitioner is for a direction to the D.I.G. (Prisons), Nagpur to decide the application of the petitioner.
Ms Khan, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, states on instructions that the police verification report is received by the D.I.G. (Prisons), Nagpur yesterday and the application of the petitioner would be decided within a short time.
By accepting the statement made on behalf of the respondent, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the D.I.G. (Prisons), Nagpur to decide the application of the petitioner within two weeks.
