DATE : October 21 , 2021 Request is made on behalf of the applicants for grant of adjournment. It is seen that the applicants have circulated the civil application. We have therefore perused the application and the prayers made therein. Though by order dated 24/07/2018 the question of interest on the amount of retirement benefits was to be decided by the Court while hearing the appeal finally, by subsequent order dated 06/03/2020 it has been clarified that the relief sought in that regard was beyond the scope of the Letters Patent Appeal. Liberty was given to the applicants to adopt appropriate procedure. In view of the fact that the proceedings have been remanded for fresh adjudication by the learned Single Judge it is open for the applicants to make such request as made in the civil application in accordance with law. The points raised in the application are kept open and it is accordingly disposed of.
