Heard.

The petitioner/husband has challenged the order passed by the Family Court by which he is directed to pay amount of Rs.2,500/- per month to the respondent/wife towards maintenance. The challenge is on the ground that the salary certificate submitted by the respondent/ wife to contend that he is working as Works Manager with TATA Motors and is earning about Rs.25,000/- per month is not exhibited and is not proved. The learned trial Judge has not relied on the above certificate and has observed that the wife has failed to prove the income of husband. However, considering the general principles laid down, the learned trial Judge has rightly directed the husband to pay the amount of Rs.2,500/- per month towards the interim maintenance. I do not find any illegality or error of jurisdiction which necessitates interference by this Court in the extraordinary jurisdiction. The writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
