Learned advocate for the applicants states that matrimonial dispute between non-applicant no.2 Aanchal and son of applicant no.1 i.e. Akash Vishnupant Patile is settled between the parties. Accordingly, petition no. A-239 of 2023 has filed by Akash and Aanchal in Family Court No.3, Nagpur, on 12th November, 2024, in which a decree of divorce by mutual consent is granted by the Family Court.

In view of the amicable settlement between the parties, there is no propriety to continue the proceeding of FIR No. 318 of 2022 for the offence punishable under Sections 498-A, 504, 506 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code and the said First Information Report is therefore quashed and set aside.

Application is disposed of accordingly.
