DATE : 22.11.2016 The only prayer made by the petitioner in the instant petition is for a direction to the respondent nos.2 and 3 to grant approval to the promotion of the petitioner as Deputy Headmaster w.e.f. 1.7.2013.

Ms Athalye, the learned Counsel for the petitioner states that the grievance of the petitioner would stand redressed, if this Court directs the respondent no.3 to decide the proposal of the petitioner, within a time frame. It is stated that the proposal of the petitioner is pending for nearly three years and the same is not yet decided, despite the fact that reminders are sent by the petitioner for deciding the proposal.

2211wp6161.16.odt Since the prayer made on behalf of the petitioner is innocuous, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent no.3 to decide the proposal of the petitioner, if not decided, within a period of eight weeks.

Order accordingly. No costs.
