Heard learned counsel for petitioner.

A punishment of withholding increment imposed upon the petitioner was set aside but according to him, consequential benefits were not paid to him including the interest also. 3.

In view of the aforesaid position, we are constrained to pass following order:

ORDER

i) The respondent authorities should decide the claim of petitioner in the light of the fact that punishment imposed upon him is already set aside.

ii) The respondent authorities should inform the impediments, if any, in releasing the dues to the petitioner, within two weeks from today.

iii) Once the deficiencies are removed, the authorities are directed to disburse the payment within further four weeks.

2 15wp6688.2025..doc iv) If the respondent authorities form an opinion that there is no legal impediment, then payment be disbursed in further four weeks.

v) Needless to mention, even question of grant of interest will be favourably decided by the respondent authorities, once the deficiencies are removed, in accordance with law.
