However, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor Mrs. Kalyani Deshpande points out that the writ petition questions the judgment of the learned Magistrate acquitting respondents 2 to 5 of offence punishable under Section 498-A of the Indian Penal Code and the judgment of the appellate Court in Criminal Appeal 37/2015 which confirms the acquittal.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor Mrs. Kalyani Deshpande points out that the remedy lies elsewhere and the petition is clearly not maintainable. 4.
