Heard.
Apprehending arrest in connection with crime registered for the offences punishable under Sections 376, 417, 506 of the Indian Penal Code, the applicant seeks prearrest bail. The crime is registered on the complaint of prosecutrix, aged about 29 years that by abusing the faith reposed by the prosecutrix in the applicant and giving false assurance, the applicant has sexually exploited the prosecutrix during the period from July-2016 till 13th January, 2017. The First Information Report is lodged by the prosecutrix on 23rd June, 2017.
The applicant, aged about 32 years, claims to be a practicing lawyer and has stated that any other crime/offence is not registered against him.
The non-applicant has not been able to point out
2 aba494.17 that the custody of the applicant is required for further investigation.
In the facts of the case, following order is passed : In the event of arrest in connection with Crime No.191 of 2017 registered by the non-applicant, the applicant be released on bail on executing P. R. Bond for Rs.25,000/- and furnishing one solvent surety in the like amount. The application is allowed in the above terms. JUDGE PBP
