By this criminal application, the applicant seeks the quashing of the first information report bearing Crime No.148 of 2016.
Crime No.148 of 2016 is not registered against the applicant. The applicant, on a mere apprehension that a first information report would be registered against him, cannot file an application for quashing the first information report in Crime No.148 of 2016. The criminal application is premature and the same is liable to be dismissed. Hence, the criminal application is dismissed with no order as to costs.
