The contempt petitions deserve to be disposed of in the wake of the compliance reported to us through an affidavit filed by the Joint Director of Higher Education, Amravati Division, Amravati and in specific paragraph 3 thereof.

We accept the compliance on the record.

Mr. Vaishnav, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, however, make a grievance that there is no payment of salary from November-2023 and though we make it clear that this tranche of payment would not be covered by our order dated 26.08.2022, taking into consideration the light of those who are deprived of the salary, we expect the Management to forward the salary bills of its staff, if there is any conundrum about, who is authorized to sign the bills, by obtaining a necessary clarifications from the University clarifying that the senior-most person shall be authorized to sign the salary bills in accordance with the decision of the State Government contained its Resolution dated 15.03.2012 issued by the Higher and Technical Department. 4.

Our emphasis is only on the aspect for the reason that there is some dispute as to who shall sign the salary bills, the salary shall not be withheld. We expect all the authorities to ensure this and act accordingly.

Both these contempt proceedings are dropped.
