The petition challenges an order under Section 257 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code. In view of judgment of the Hon'ble Apex Court in the case of Gurudassing Nawoosing Panjwani Vs. State of Maharashtra and others reported in 2016(2) SCC 213, the petitioner has alternative statutory remedy to file second revision. In that view of the matter, the Advocate for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the petition with liberty to adopt appropriate proceedings as are permissible in law. 2.

The petition was pending from 2012 and the Rule was issued. In that view of the mater, petitioner shall be entitled to benefit of Section 14 of the Limitation Act. The interim relief was already operating in favour of the petitioner from 07.11.2014. In that view of the matter, the interim relief is continued for a period of six weeks from today. 3.

The petition stands disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.
