This application has been preferred by the respondents in First Appeal No.336 of 2020. Pursuant to judgment dated 11.03.2020, the first appeal was allowed and the respondents therein were directed to pay compensation of Rs.65,000/- per hectare (Sixty Five Thousand Only) to the appellants.

After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and after perusing the application, the application is allowed in terms of prayer Clause (i), which reads as follows : "(i) Permit the respondents to deposit Rs.21,44,002/- (In words Rupees Twenty One Lakh Forty Four Thousand and Two only) by cheque No.616171 dated 21.07.2022 drawn on State Bank of India."

Let the amounts be deposited in the Registry of this Court within a period of two weeks from today.
