This is an application for grant of bail.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor pointed out that now already 16 witnesses are examined, and the summons is already issued to examine the investigating officer. Thus, the trial is at the fag end and can be disposed of at the earliest.

Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that at least the trial court shall be directed to decide the trial within two months.

Considering that eight accused are facing trial before the court and they have engaged the different counsels, though the last witness is to examined, but thereafter, considering the stack of witnesses, the trial court also required time to record the statement of the accused. 5.

In view of that, liberty can be granted to the applicant to approach, if the trial is not concluded within six months.

The criminal application is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty to file after six months if the trial is not concluded within six months.
