DATED : 25-07-2017 In this petition filed on 11-07-2017, contention is, the petitioners/land owners filed proceedings under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act for enhancement of compensation amount on 22-03-2002 and the said application is still pending in the office of Land Acquisition Officer and has not been forwarded to the office of Civil Court.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for the respondents points out that there is huge delay. It appears that the petitioners has made a representation directly in 2011 and thereafter present petition has been filed.

Thus in recent past there is no representation also.

2 wp4744.17 We, therefore, grant petitioners leave to obtain necessary information under the Right to Information Act first and then to approach necessary forum as per law. The objection of learned Assistant Government Pleader about undue delay and laches is kept open. Accordingly, we dispose of the petition. No Costs. JUDGE JUDGE adgokar
