Heard Shri A.A. Naik, learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri N. Rode, learned AGP for respondent Nos. 1 to 3. Nobody for respondent No. 4.

The caste claim of the petitioner is pending with Respondent No. 3 - Committee. On 25.07.2016, by appropriate interim orders we have protected his education with a direction to permit him to prosecute his further studies as per law.

The petitioner has tendered additional affidavit on 05.08.2016 pointing out family tree and validities dated 07.08.2010 and 09.05.2014 received by the relatives on paternal side.

The learned AGP is seeking time to obtain instructions on additional affidavit.

We find that interest of justice can be met with

1002wp4213.16 by directing Respondent No. 3 - Committee to expedite consideration of caste claim and to take final decision upon it within a period of one year from today.

Accordingly, we continue interim orders dated 25.07.2016 till such adjudication and make it subject to it. 7.

Writ Petition is thus partly allowed and disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. JUDGE JUDGE *GS.
