Criminal Application (APPP) No.1162/2018:

The application is allowed. The applicant is permitted to assist the prosecution.

Criminal Application (ABA) No.474/2018:

The applicants 1 to 3 - women and applicant 4 who is aged 70 years are apprehending arrest in Crime 134/2018 registered with the Police Station Washim (Rural) for offence punishable under sections 307, 326, 147, 148, 149, 504, 506 read with section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The submission is that it was the applicant 4 who lodged the report against Gajanan Kale and others and the implication of the applicants is in retaliation.

This submission apart, the material on record does not attribute the main role in the incident to the applicants. It is

It does not appear from the material on record that their custodial interrogation is necessary. The interim order dated 03.07.2018 is confirmed.
