DATED : 07 AUGUST, 2015 The petitioner is seeking direction to consider her claim for Scheduled Tribe category. It is the contention of the petitioner that at the time when she applied for MH-CET Examination from OBC category, she was not knowing that she was belonging to Scheduled Tribe category. It is submitted that, however, subsequently when there was family meeting, she came to know that she belongs to Scheduled Tribe category and, therefore, she obtained certificate belonging to Scheduled Tribe and is claiming admission in 1st year MBBS course reserved for Scheduled Tribe candidate. If the petition is entertained, it will open flood gate of induction and every candidate would be permitted to change his/her category after submission of the application form and direction would be sought from the Court to change the category. We are, therefore, not inclined to entertain the petition.

Writ petition is rejected.
