Hearing was conducted through Video Conferencing and learned counsel agreed that the Audio and Visual Quality were proper.

This writ petition was filed by the petitioner for getting himself to be categorized in Category (2)(b) of 2010 Guidelines.

2.

The State has filed a reply and pointed out that the petitioner is categorized in Category 2(c) of the said Guidelines.

Judgment in Sessions Trial No.53/2004, in which the petitioner is convicted for life imprisonment, is placed on record by the petitioner himself which shows that he set his wife ablaze after pouring kerosene due to which she died which stands proved during the Trial. .....2/-

In this view of the matter, categorization of the petitioner in Category (2)(c) of 2010 Guidelines is perfectly correct.

Hence, when the Court was about to dismiss the writ petition, learned counsel Shri Mir Nagman Ali for the petitioner submits that he wishes to withdraw the writ petition.

The criminal writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.
