By this petition, the accused challenges order passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge on 22nd February, 2018, by which the prayer made on behalf of the accused to reduce the amount of surety from Rs.2,70,000/- to Rs.25,000/- is rejected. It appears that the order was passed by the Sessions Court directing that the accused be released on bail on furnishing surety in the sum of Rs.2,70,000/-, the accused being arrested in connection with Crime No.409/2017.

Shri V.P.Gangane, learned A.P.P. has submitted that the trial is complete and by the judgment delivered by the learned Magistrate on 6th July, 2018 the present petitioner, who was accused No.4, is acquitted. It is submitted that after acquittal the present petitioner is released and presently he is in jail at Nasik in connection with some other crime.

In view of the submission made by the learned A.P.P., I find that the grievance made in this writ petition does not survive.
