The applicant is seeking bail in Crime No.80 of 2022, dated 18.02.2022, registered with Police Station Karanja, District: Washim, for the offence punishable under Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code.

In this case, the allegations are that the applicant inflicted blow by knife on the chest of one Pratap Rajaram Rathod in the Court premises. There are eye witnesses to the alleged offence. In addition to this, antecedents are there to the discredit of the applicant. There are bodily offences registered against the applicant.

Thus, considering the nature and seriousness of the offence, and antecedents of the applicant coupled with the severity of punishment, I am not inclined to grant bail to the applicant.
