Present application is filed for grant of permission to renew the passport of the appellant for a period of five years.

The appellant has preferred the Criminal Appeal challenging the judgment dated 27/08/2012 in Sessions Trial No.508/2009 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Nagpur. During the investigation process, the passport was surrendered. Subsequently, it was handed over to the appellant. However, due to the pendency of the appeal, the appellant has to seek the permission of this Court to renew the passport.

In view of the reasons mentioned in the application, the applicant is permitted to apply for the renewal of the passport, for a period of five years. 5.
The application is disposed of.
