The only prayer made by the petitioner in the instant writ petition is for a direction to the respondent no.1-State of Maharashtra to decide the application made by the petitioner for permission to purchase the land belonging to the tribal. Mrs. Deshpande, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the State Government states, on instructions, that the application of the petitioner would be decided within three months.

By accepting the statement made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader, that would be binding on the State Government, we dispose of the writ petition, with no order as to costs.
