This matter pertains to the challenge raised to the show cause notice dated 18th February, 2020 which is received on 2nd March, 2020, before the Labour Court, Amravati by filing a complaint (ULP) No. 8 of 2020, wherein the application filed by the petitioner for interim relief came to be rejected and it was confirmed by the Industrial Court, Amravati.

In the present petition, the interim protection was granted to the petitioner, which was continued till 6th March, 2024 and since none appeared SKNair

27-wp-4988-22.odt on behalf of the petitioner, the matter was adjourned. However the interim relief was not continued. 4.

Thereupon, the respondents terminated the services of the petitioner vide dismissal order dated 27th March, 2024 and as such a statement is made today by the learned counsel for the respondent that this petition has rendered infructuous.

In that view of the matter, I am of the opinion that ends of justice would be subserved, if the learned Labour Court, Amravati is directed to decide the complaint (ULP) No. 18 of 2020 expeditiously after allowing the petitioner to carry out necessary amendment in view of the subsequent events.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Labour Court, Amravati to decide the complaint (ULP) No. 18 of 2020 within four months from the date of carrying out amendment to the complaint, incorporating the challenge to the dismissal order.
