The applicant is apprehending arrest in Crime 277/2020, registered with Police Station, Shirajgaon, Amravati Gramin, for offence punishable under section 326 of Indian Penal Code.

The allegation is assault by knife, which is yet to be recovered.

The applicant has criminal antecedents and is facing as many as seven prosecutions.

5.

I am satisfied that custodial interrogation is necessary.

No case is made out for grant of pre-arrest protection, since protecting the applicant shall certainly
