DATED : 07-01-2021 Mrs. Shilpi Baghel unfortunately committed suicide on 23-11-2020. On the basis of report dated 25-11-2020 lodged by her father, with the Paratwada Police Station, Crime 464/2020, for offences punishable under Sections 109, 306 and 498-A read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, is registered.

The applicants and husband and father-in-law of Mrs. Shilpi are implicated in the crime. The allegation is that Mrs. Shilpi was ill-treated to compel her to succumb to dowry demand.

Applicants 1 and 3 are the brothers-in-law of Mrs. Shilpi. Applicant 2 is her mother-in-law. Applicant 4 is the sister-in-law and applicant 5 is the husband of applicant 4.

Perusal of the material in the case diary would reveal that the allegations are general in nature. The

2 aba776.20 husband and father-in-law are arrested and are in judicial custody. Considering the nature of the accusations, custodial interrogation does not appear to be necessary.

The application is allowed.

In the event of arrest in Crime 464/2020 registered with Paratwada Police Station, DistrictAmravati for offences punishable under Sections 109, 306 and 498-A read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, the applicants shall be released on furnishing personal bond of Rs.20,000/- each with a solvent surety of like amount, which surety may be furnished within four weeks from the arrest, if any.

The applicants shall attend the concerned police station, till the charge-sheet is filed, as and when directed by the Investigating Officer and shall cooperate with the Investigating Officer.

The applicants shall not make any attempt to influence the witnesses.

9.

The applicants shall not leave the country without the permission of the trial Court.
