By this writ petition, the petitioners have challenged the provisional seniority list of the assistant teachers working in the schools run by the zilla parishad. The learned counsel for the petitioners has tendered a counsel note for withdrawal of the vakalatnama of the counsel in the Court, today. The same is accepted on record. It is stated in the counsel note that though the counsel for the petitioners has contacted the petitioners telephonically on several occasions, the petitioners have not responded and given any instructions to the counsel. It is stated that a registered notice, dated 28.01.2017 is served on the petitioners but, the petitioners have not responded. For the reasons mentioned in the counsel note, the appearance of the learned counsel for the petitioners stands discharged. Since it appears that the petitioners are not interested in prosecuting the matter, the writ petition is dismissed with no order as to costs. Rule stands discharged. JUDGE JUDGE APTE
