DATE : 27.06.2016 By this contempt petition, the petitioner seeks an action against the respondents for wilful disobedience of the order, dated 10.2.2015 in Writ Petition No.1356/2014. It is the case of the petitioner that despite the order, dated 10.2.2015 directing the respondents to take suitable decision on the application of the petitioner for renewal of registration, the respondents have not taken the decision. Shri Joshi, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for the respondents states that during the pendency of the contempt petition, the respondents have renewed the licence of the petitioner from 31.10.2013 to 30.10.2016 as a Category 1-A Contractor.
2706cp13.16.odt In view of the statement, made on behalf of the respondents on the basis of the communication received from the Additional Secretary, State Government dated 24.6.2016, we find that the contempt has been purged and the order stands complied with.
It would not be necessary to proceed with the contempt petition any longer. The contempt petition is disposed of with no order as to costs.
