According to him, the vehicle has been illegally seized by the respondent authorities. He, therefore, submits that the respondent authorities have absolutely no power to do the same. 3.

Be that as it may, since the issue is still not decided by the respondent authorities, we direct the respondent authorities to decide the issue regarding validity of seizure of vehicle by granting an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from today.

The learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to produce a copy of this order before the concerned authorities, within a period of two weeks from today.
