DATED : 26-10-2021 The applicant is seeking bail in connection with Crime 488/2021 registered with Police Station, City Kotwali, Akola for offence punishable under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

While the charge-sheet is not filed as yet, considering the nature of accusation, the fact that the applicant, who is employed with the Panchayat Samiti, Akola, would not be in a position to influence the witnesses or tamper with the evidence and that any investigation which may be left to be conducted shall not be hampered, if the applicant is released on bail, this application is allowed.

The applicant be released on bail on furnishing PR bond of 16,000/- (Rupees Sixteen Thousand) with ₹ solvent surety of like amount subject to the following conditions.

(a) The applicant shall not tamper with the evidence or make any attempt to influence the witnesses, directly or indirectly.

(b) The applicant shall not leave the country without the permission of the jurisdictional Court.
