Date : 27 th March, 2017 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. The challenge is to the order allowing the application for amendment of written statement after the trial is commenced. The challenge is on the ground that there is no "due diligence" shown and that the amendment proposed is not necessary for deciding the real controversy involved in the matter. All these questions can be agitated in a regular civil appeal, if such occasion arises.

No interference is called for in the interlocutory order. The writ petition is dismissed.
