The appellant/applicant has moved this application to extend the time to deposit the awarded amount in this Court, for which learned counsel for respondent No.1 and learned AGP for respondent Nos. 2 and 3 have no objection.

On perusal of the record, it appears that by order dated 22.01.2024, this Court directed the appellant to deposit the cheque within eight weeks; however, the appellant failed to deposit the same within the time stipulated, hence, moved this application. 3.

Considering the reasons stated in the application and no objection of learned counsel for respondents, by way of last chance, one week's time is granted to deposit the cheque. It is made clear that if the appellant fails to deposit the cheque in time, then ad-interim stay shall stand vacated without further reference to the Court. The application is disposed of.

FIRST APPEAL NO. 126 OF 2024 List the matter after one week.
