The present application is preferred by the applicant for grant of anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest in connection with Crime No.67/2023, registered at Police Station West Region, Cyber Police Station, Crime Branch C.I.D., Mumbai, under Section 153(A), (B) and 500 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 67 of the Information Technology Act, 2008.

The applicant is apprehending arrest at the hands of police as he has received the notice under Section 41 (A) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The protection is granted to him by the trial Court for two days. From the notice, it reveals that crime under Section 156(A), (B) and 500 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 67 of the Information Technology Act, is registered against him at West Region Cyber Police
(2) 1.aba.472.2023 Station, Mumbai. From the notice, it further reveals that the investigating agency has received credible information which shows the involvement of the present applicant in the said offence and therefore, the applicant is called for the interrogation purpose to ascertain the role in the offence. As per as the allegations against the present applicant is concerned, it is submitted by the learned Counsel for the applicant that he could not obtain the copy of the FIR. However, from the sections applied it appears that crime is registered under Section 500 of the Indian Penal Code. Thus, the applicant is apprehending arrest at the hands of police. His immediate custody is not required and he is ready to abide all the conditions. He is seeking transit bail, till he approaches to the concerned Court at Mumbai.
In view of the reasons mentioned in the application and considering the provisions attracted against the present applicant mentioned in the notice, his immediate custody is not required, therefore, he can be protected by granting interim protection in the nature of transit bail, till he approaches to the concerned Court. In view of that, I proceed to pass following order.
(I) In the event of arrest, the applicant Manoj s/o Keshav Pimple is released on anticipatory bail on executing of PR bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- with one solvent surety in the like amount, in connection with Crime No.67/2023, registered at West Region Cyber Police Station Crime Branch C.I.D., Mumbai, under Section 153(A), (B) and
(3) 1.aba.472.2023 500 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 67 of the Information Technology Act, 2008.
(ii) The applicant shall approach to he concerned competent Court immediately within one week as the applicant is protected by way of granting protection for one week.
