This Court protected the applicant vide order dated 22-12-2020 observing thus :

Pursuant to a communal confrontation incident, a mob attacked the police with stones causing injuries to three police personnel.

I have already protected the accused, who are not named in the First Information Report and denied pre-arrest protection to named accused. 8.

On the principle of parity, the applicant is entitled to pre-arrest protection, till the case diary is perused."
